Cookie Policy

1. The short version

Nothing that identifies or follows you is stored on your device unless you have agreed to it. When you first arrive you will see a short banner asking whether we may use analytics and advertising cookies. Until you choose “Accept all”, those cookies are not set — and if you choose to reject them, they are never set at all. The site works exactly the same either way.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. They can keep you signed in, remember a preference, or follow your browsing across different sites. Not every cookie does all of those things, and the difference matters — which is why this page sets out exactly what we use.

3. Cookies we set regardless of consent

These are strictly necessary, which means the law does not require us to ask permission for them. There are only two, and neither is used to track you.

• Admin sign-in cookie — set only when a member of our own staff signs in to the admin area. As an ordinary visitor you will never receive it.
• Your cookie choice — we remember whether you accepted or rejected, so we do not ask you again on every page. This is stored in your browser’s local storage, not sent to us.

4. Cookies we set only if you accept

We use Google Tag Manager to load two Google services. Both are held in a “denied” state by default using Google Consent Mode, and neither can write a cookie until you have agreed.

• Google Analytics 4 — tells us how many people visit, which destinations and packages they look at, and where they leave. We use it to improve the site. Typical cookies:_ga, _ga_<id>, usually kept for up to two years.
• Google Ads — lets us see which adverts led to an enquiry, so we do not keep paying for advertising that does not work. Typical cookies: _gcl_au and cookies set by google.com and doubleclick.net, usually kept for up to 90 days.

We do not use a Meta Pixel or any other social media tracking tag, and we do not sell or share your browsing data with data brokers.

5. Why there is a banner

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, a site needs your consent before storing cookies on your device — unless a cookie is strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly asked for. The cookies in section 3 fall within that exemption. The ones in section 4 do not, so we ask first. Rejecting them costs you nothing: every page, price and form behaves identically.

6. Changing your mind

Your choice is stored in your browser, so clearing your browsing data for this site will remove it and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can then choose differently. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across every site using Google’s browser add-on, or manage advertising personalisation in your Google account settings.

7. Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either generally or site by site. Blocking the cookies in section 4 will not change your experience of this site in any way. Blocking the admin cookie would only prevent our own team from signing in.

8. Changes to this policy

We will revise this page whenever what we store changes, and we will ask for your consent again if we start using a category of cookie you have not already agreed to. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
