Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort (11)

A Grade II listed Georgian country house on the edge of Leeds, Oulton Hall pairs restored formal gardens and a grand interior with 27 holes of parkland golf laid out across the estate. The course plays as three nines that combine into different 18-hole routings, with mature trees and water shaping most of the better holes. Inside there is a spa with indoor pool and treatment rooms, several dining rooms, and enough function space to make it a regular choice for societies — and it is close enough to the M62 and M1 to work as a base for golf across Yorkshire.
