Westerwood sits below the Campsie Hills about fifteen miles from Glasgow, built around a course co-designed by Seve Ballesteros and Dave Thomas. The signature hole is the 15th, “The Waterfall”, played to a green set beneath a sheer sixty-foot rock face and one of the most photographed holes in central Scotland. The rest of the layout mixes open moorland with tighter tree-lined stretches and gives up long views over the surrounding hills. With a spa, indoor pool and plenty of function space on site, it works both as a golf base in its own right and as a stop on a wider Scottish itinerary.
